Is Complex 15 Moisturizer good for oily skin? & What’s a good toner for oily skin?

acne complex review
saammie♥ asked:

I use a tiny bit of it about twice a day (after I cleanse and tone my skin).
I use like a pea sized amount. It’s called Complex 15 moisturizer, and if you don’t know what it does, then look it up.
It says on the back that it’s oil-free and paraben free and noncomedogenic, and that it also creates a shine-free matte finish to your skin.
Have you used Complex 15 before or heard anything about it?? Or can you find somewhere that has reviews on it?? Cause I can’t seem to find any..
Is it good for oily, acne prone skin?

OH, AND,
one more question…
What’s the best toner for my very oily, acne prone skin??? Something that will keep my face more dry throughout the day.

Please help!!
Thanks in advanceee :)

Do you think Murad will work for me?

acne complex review
lauraandbeccy asked:

A couple days ago I begged my dad into buying the Murad Acne Complex Kit from their site. I have heard of aaaall of the horrible things it has done to people after they had used it, and I have heard about the people that it did wonders for. Even though there were tons of good AND reaally bad reviews, I’m been struggling with acne for so long that I just need to see if this will be my cure!

I have used Proactiv, Benzaclin, Clindamycin, Mosom, Clean and Clear products, Neutrogena products, Tazorac, Differin, AcneFree, prescribed pads, Evoclin, Solodyn, Doryx, Retin-A, Biodermazen, Acnetix, Juliet’s Cosmetics, Triaz, etc.
NONE of that worked, and most of those products made my skin worse. I CANNOT use Benzoyl Peroxide. I think that I can use Salicylic Acid. I have sensitive skin.
Since my mom lost her job at the dermatologist’s office where she takes us, she is no longer letting us go there. This means that I have no more face wash to keep my skin at least ooooookay. I can’t go to another derm. because we went to all of the other ones in our area! I just bought Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub which seemed to make my face worse, but I’m not sure. At first I had thought that the Salicylic Acid made it worse, but then I heard that if it was a gel or something other than a wash, then it could irritate my skin since it would be left on my skin. So this product ruined my skin after only one day so I stopped. So now I’m back to using a lighter product called Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or something like that-for normal to oily skin. This is calming it down, but not doing anything else for my acne. I am also still using Clindamycin at night. My face is getting very dry and it kind of burns, and I don’t know why. I always put on my Neutrogena Oil-free moisturizer, which is supposed to help, but it makes it burn a little. Help…
Sooo, will the Murad Acne Complex Kit work for me??
If you’ve tried it, can you please say what your skin is like?

What is the most effective non-prescription acne medication?

Helen of Troy asked:

I am a teenager and I get the normal whiteheads and the painful, long-lasting under-skin pimples as well. I have tried many types of acne medication and they have either been useless or made it worse. I have oily skin. My acne is not really severe, but it is still painful and embarrassing. What would be the best thing for me to use? Thank you so much!

How will multiple acne treatments affect my acne?

I am a teenager and I was prescribed by the dermatologist a list of acne medications including the following:
triaz 9% cleanser, evoclin foam, benzaclin cream, solodyn pills, and tazorac cream. I have been using all of these except the triaz for about 5 days, and I am worried what the triaz will do to my skin…I am starting my first day of school tomorrow–my junior year–and I don’t want to show up with my face peeling and flaking all day. Please give me a supportive answer…! :-/
I have reaaallly oily skin and i have used a bunch of acne medications before such as proactiv for about 3 years and it barely did anything and I am not going back to that. It did not irritate my face at all, but I have also tried the aspirin thing and it did not work. As I said, I am using everything right now except the triaz since I just got that from the pharmacy today, and my face at this moment is flaking a bit mostly around my chin/neck/mouth area.
I have used eucerin dermatologist recommended moisterizer lotion for a couple days while also using my medications.

What acne product should I use?

acne complex review
lauraandbeccy asked:

I am 17 years old and I have very oily skin. I have used over 20 acne products which have not satisfied me. I have used Proactiv, Benzaclin, Triaz, Tazorac, Evoclin, tons of OTC products, Solodyn, AcneFree, Juliets Cosmetics, etc. I have also used Nature’s Way Body Acne spray, and I don’t remember that working.
Right now I am using: Mosom cleanser, Clindamycin phosphate 1% lotion, and Neutrogena oil free light moisturizer. I am also taking Yasmin birth control because I heard that it could help with acne since it controls your hormones. I don’t really think the pills are working. My dermatologist also gave me Inova pads which made my face red, so I stopped using them. Pads don’t really tend to work on my skin. I cannot use anything with benzoyl peroxide in it because it makes my face burn and get red and sometimes itchy. I think I could use products with Salicylic Acid. I am wondering if the Mosom Cleanser that I am using is still working, I don’t think it’s working as well anymore. I really want to try the Murad Acne Complex Kit, but I have seen so many bad reviews, but so many good ones. So I’m not sure what to do :\
I also have looked at “Change for the better” which is an acne kit. I need help in choosing a new product because I am getting very impatient with my skin. I have an appointment with my dermatologist on Friday and I think I should ask him, but I would also like everybody else’s opinion. Thanks :) .
My acne has calmed down and it is not severe. I’d say it’s mild enough that I can almost completely cover it with makeup, but I feel like you can still see it. My parents and friends say that it’s not bad, but it still upsets me. I just want to be able to not wear ANY makeup at all and feel pretty. I don’t want any itchy pimples on my face. I don’t want to look at my face and see things that I have to pop and spend so much time taking care of that. My pores are also pretty big, it’s gross. I’ve used Acnetix which came with a pore minimizer that worked a little at first but then was bad. I feel like if my pores get smaller, then the acne will get worse because everything may get stuck inside…if that makes sense. Acnetix did not work.
My skin is TOTALLY not bad enough to use Accutane, and it is very hard to keep up with, and I would never ever use it.
