So ive been correctly using my twice a day three step acne medication which my doctor prescribed me to and fortunately it seems to be reducing/clearing the redness of my acne alot more than the over-the-counter products i had been using. Ive been using this medication for about a week now and my acne has gone from red spots/bumps to flat (reddish and slightly purplish) scar type looking things. Is my acne meant to look like this? I don’t have terrible acne. But I do break out from time to time. I have been dealing with acne my whole life. I jump from medication to medication, but nothing seems to work as well as I want it to. I still break out. My dermatologist has me on Benzaclin and Differin. They both make my acne go away quicker than usual, but I would like a medication that will prevent acne, not just slowly reduce it. The only downfall is I don’t want one that will dry out my skin. Is there even such a thing?

I just bought jergens natural glow today for my face and body. I have 2 prescription acne creams that I use every day. Benza clin for morning and retinamicro for night. Usually I apply a moisturizer and then apply my medication but since this is a self tanner moisturizer I was wondering if it will have a bad effect? Has anyone else had experience with this??
