Will insurance cover laser acne treatments?
Also how much are the laser acne treatments? I am looking to use it as treatment for my face, I have mild acne that’s been around for 8 years and drugs/topical medications prescribed by my dermatologist have not been working.
I have a United Health PPO plan.

Can you ask for acne medication in a checkup?
I have a regular check up next month, and I was wondering if I could just ask for acne medication there, instead of making a appointment with a dermatologist, because i don’t think my doctors offer that.
Can i?
And what would I say?
thanks.

What is a good acne medication?
I don’t have terrible acne. But I do break out from time to time. I have been dealing with acne my whole life. I jump from medication to medication, but nothing seems to work as well as I want it to. I still break out. My dermatologist has me on Benzaclin and Differin. They both make my acne go away quicker than usual, but I would like a medication that will prevent acne, not just slowly reduce it. The only downfall is I don’t want one that will dry out my skin. Is there even such a thing?

Best Facial Moisturizers for Dry Skin?
What are the best facial moisturizers for dry skin. Like severely dry. To the point where it is not possible to wear makeup because I have acne too. Like sometimes my skin will be really chapped and peeling and cracked. I just started to use products from the dermatologist for blemishes again and I know this is a factor of my dry skin but does anyone have any good solutions. I’ve tried everything from simple brands like Aveeno, Neutrogena, Olay, Mary Kay, to more complex brands like Philosophy and Clinque.
Please help because this is getting old and I’m sick of dealing with this stupid stuff.
Also I eat a VERY well balanced diet. I eat as many fruits and veggies as I can. And I drink at least the recommened amount of water a day so my diet and hydration are not factors.

Can a regular doctor prescribe acne treatments?
I think I’m using the wrong title but can my regular doctor prescribe that stuff or do I go to a dermatologist? I am new at this and have no idea what I would do. Even if my doctor can prescribe it, wear do I go? Rite-Aid? Walmart?
Anyone get what I’m asking?

Does your acne star this fast? Should I buy this acne scar remover?
Hi there, I have recently broken out in acne like crazy since three months ago or so. About a month ago my dermatologist put me on some subscriptions to reduce the acne, however now I have some significant acne scars. Does your acne do this to you too? In such short time? Anyways, to continue my question, I am planning on buying Clear Essence Advance Complex Fade Gel because I heard the sooner you treat acne scars, the faster they go away. I heard some good reviews about it, but I don’t know if it could possibly increase my acne because I still have a little (however not as much). Right now I use doryx pills, differin cream in the night, and duac cream in the morning. Thanks for any help or comments. Please no flaming or statements like: “EWW ACNE IS GROSS”.

Murad Acne Complex Users HELPP?
I just saw the infomercial for Murad Acne Complex last night and I thought it was an answer to my prayers. I’m a 15 year old female with absolutely horrible acne. I just can’t deal with it anymore, and because of it my self esteem is the lowest it could ever possibly get. I ordered it and it should come in about 3 days. I decided to look up some reviews on this product and my heart dropped. I can’t even count the number of times i’ve heard people say that using Murad was the worst mistake of their entire life because of the irritation, scars, and even worse acne it caused. Please give me some feedback on what I should do. Is there any 15-19 year old female out there with bad acne that this actually did work for?!
HELP ME.
I’ve been to a dermatologist severak times and have tried their products. Didn’t help one single bit.
I’ve also tried Proactive and just about every other product on the market.
