Is my acne meant to look like this while in acne medication?

So i want start completely removing them from my routine and begin something new.
i have started drinking lots of water to help cleanse, but this is not enough. What else can i add to my routine that will help give me clear skin.

proactiv solution vs. murad acne complex?

I WAS gonna order Murad Acne Complex system cause it doesn’t have benzoyl peroxide and its natural. But I saw horrible reviews on the internet and decided to forget about it. I was also thinking of buying Avon’s clear skin products (not clear skin professional) to try them out cause they have salicylic acid and don’t have irritants. I really don’t know, Im so confuse coz there are soo much acne products out there that don’t work! Please give me advice!
