I have actually tried proactiv and my friends all used neutrogena but it made their acnes worse and made them breakout.
Just please tell me if murad works.

hi im not sure if you can find it but try looking for a mix called phisohex you wash ya face with it twice a day and you no its working because it stings a little bit but goes away and leaves ya face feeling fresh.also dont over wash ya face cause it takes out all the oils your skin needs.cheers and hope it works
Try using some over the counter products like Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, etc. If those do not work, then see a dermatologist and he/she will prescribe you with a medication. Over the counter products are only for little to mild acne. Prescription medication are always more effective than over the counter products.
Since you are just starting middle school, I would not be too worried about acne that forms because of hormones. But once you reach puberty you should watch for that and see a dermatologist if you start to get the severe forms of acne (cyst, etc)
For your oily/dry skin, wash you face with a gentle cleanser, I like Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleanser, two to three times a day and use a oil free or a noncomedogenic moisturizer to keep your face moisturized.
Good luck!
