What are good acne treatments for mild acne?

acne treatments
babe asked:

I have combination skin (oily nose, dry cheeks in the winter) and I have mild acne on my face, chest, upper back, and on my butt cheeks. Gross, I know! :(

I have been using Phisoderm face/body washes and they work okay, but my acne is still there. What are some good products to clear up mild acne? Thanks!

Are there any ‘miracle’ acne treatments which actually work?

qwerty asked:

there are so many products out there claiming to be the only ones which really work against acne, and that they are a miracle and your acne will be completely gone if you use them, but do any of them actually work?
thanks (:

Is it okay to apply moisturizer on top of acne medication?

acne medication
Jason asked:

My normal regimen is to apply either a benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid acne medication during the day, then apply jojoba oil at night to moisturize. Do I need to keep the acne stuff and the jojoba oil separate like I’m doing, or is it okay to put both on at the same time?

Do you think Murad will work for me?

acne complex review
lauraandbeccy asked:

A couple days ago I begged my dad into buying the Murad Acne Complex Kit from their site. I have heard of aaaall of the horrible things it has done to people after they had used it, and I have heard about the people that it did wonders for. Even though there were tons of good AND reaally bad reviews, I’m been struggling with acne for so long that I just need to see if this will be my cure!

I have used Proactiv, Benzaclin, Clindamycin, Mosom, Clean and Clear products, Neutrogena products, Tazorac, Differin, AcneFree, prescribed pads, Evoclin, Solodyn, Doryx, Retin-A, Biodermazen, Acnetix, Juliet’s Cosmetics, Triaz, etc.
NONE of that worked, and most of those products made my skin worse. I CANNOT use Benzoyl Peroxide. I think that I can use Salicylic Acid. I have sensitive skin.
Since my mom lost her job at the dermatologist’s office where she takes us, she is no longer letting us go there. This means that I have no more face wash to keep my skin at least ooooookay. I can’t go to another derm. because we went to all of the other ones in our area! I just bought Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub which seemed to make my face worse, but I’m not sure. At first I had thought that the Salicylic Acid made it worse, but then I heard that if it was a gel or something other than a wash, then it could irritate my skin since it would be left on my skin. So this product ruined my skin after only one day so I stopped. So now I’m back to using a lighter product called Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or something like that-for normal to oily skin. This is calming it down, but not doing anything else for my acne. I am also still using Clindamycin at night. My face is getting very dry and it kind of burns, and I don’t know why. I always put on my Neutrogena Oil-free moisturizer, which is supposed to help, but it makes it burn a little. Help…
Sooo, will the Murad Acne Complex Kit work for me??
If you’ve tried it, can you please say what your skin is like?

What is the best one step acne medication I can use?

acne medication
Dee asked:

I don’t have time for all these 3 step solutions. I just want something I can use to keep acne away for good, in just one easy step. I don’t want to have to wash my face every day, I want to just apply the medication on my face (using it twice a day is fine, morning and night). I just can’t find something that simple and I’m using this as a last resort before I’ve decided it doesn’t exist. Please help!

Has anyone used Murad acne complex? What did you think of it?

acne complex solutions
CLR asked:

Proactive worked for about 2-3 months then no results, pimples were back. I don’t have terrible acne; just acne that won’t go away. No matter what I use after a few months, back to normal. I am getting married in July so I need a solution!

My acne solution?

acne complex solutions
layzaznboy asked:

–Vit. A: 25,000 IU for a month and then drop to 10,000 IU maintainance.
–Vit. E: 400IU
–Selenium: the recommended daily dose
–Pantothenic acid (Vit. B5): 4 grams for 5 days and then pop it up to 10 grams daily for a month and then drop back down to 4 gram maintainance.
–Vit. B complex
–Zinc: 50mg
–Copper: 5mg
–Acidophilus: for digestion
–Flaxseed oil

I will continue to eat healthy, wash my face 2/3 times daily with a cleanser, drink lots of water, eat lots of fruit and vegetables. I get good exercise. Also I’m applying 5% benzoyl peroxide product twice daily to the acne infected areas (It’s called nature’s cure-for guys-maybe someone has heard of it,).

I was thinking about taking multivitamin also, good idea?
Taking all the things up there at once, good/bad?
Any concerns or advice? I have read quiet a few articles and also Q&A’s here with conflicting views of Vitamin A & B’s effectiveness. I know there are some experts here, so plz help me out in anyway possible.
